In 2021, Peyrani Trasporti decided to strengthen its crane rental business, reviving the glorious past of Grandi Sollevamenti and launching a major investment plan, establishing PHL – PEYRANI HEAVY LIFT.
The new company is located in Mottola area, in the province of Taranto, and is one of the very first companies in Puglia to be based in a Special Economic Zone (ZES IONICA).
Over the past 18 months, the first mobile cranes have been joined by two flagship cranes, significantly increasing the lifting capacity of the PEYRANI HEAVY LIFT fleet.
First came the new LTM 1450 telescopic mobile crane, an 8-axle machine with a payload of 450 tons, an 85-meter telescopic boom, and a maximum working height of 146 meters.
At the end of 2022, the LG 1750 lattice boom crane joined the fleet, with a capacity of 750 tons, fully equipped with a derrick and SL 12, and a maximum working height of 195 meters.
TRITON S.r.l. has been operating for decades as a "Port Company" in the port of Taranto, authorised under Art.16 L.84/94 by the Port Authority of Taranto for the technical and operational management of lashing, handling, storage, loading and unloading of goods.
Equipment and human resources
To conduct these activities, the Company has a great mechanical equipment (65 and 40 tonnes harbour cranes, loaders, 4,5 to 42 tonnes forklifts) and qualified personnel, specialised and employed to perform Port Company operations.
Thanks to the wide range of equipment available, and our highly qualified staff, we are able to satisfy the requests of our customers.
All port operations are carried out in strict compliance with safety regulations with a view to the maximum protection of both staff and handled goods.
Customer protection
All port operations are organized and carried out according to the logistical and commercial customers needs, also performing divisions of the material for quality, size and destination.
To protect the interests of our customers, during the opening of the holds we perform a first check on the state of the material, doing a photo report in case of anomalies and / or damage.
Goods storage
In port areas, goods are stored according to the type of material and logistical customer needs. You can store materials with both foreign and national flag. We are organized for the intake and storage of materials in uncovered areas and in our own covered warehouse of 1.000 smq.
